Field Service Engineer – Solar Energy (Osun)

About the role

Jaza is expanding its solar‑energy network across Nigeria and needs a Field Service Engineer to ensure continuous power at its hubs in Osun. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting solar and diesel‑based energy systems, supporting new site roll‑outs and collaborating with local “Jaza Stars” teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor hub energy systems, diagnose and resolve technical faults to guarantee uptime.
• Support the installation, configuration and commissioning of solar panels, electrical wiring and related equipment.
• Travel to new and existing hubs, perform on‑site maintenance or provide remote troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with data analysts and Jaza Stars to analyse performance data and implement improvements.
• Document field activities, maintain accurate inventory of hub equipment and components.
• Prepare regular health and technical reports for the Regional Service Engineer.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience installing or maintaining energy systems, preferably both diesel and solar.
• Technical or engineering background with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong initiative, problem‑solving mindset and willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria.
