Field Sales Representative

About the role

Join Ingena Labs as a Field Sales Representative to drive merchant acquisition for the Chop Awoof platform across Lagos. You will meet business owners in restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and cafés, introducing them to the service and helping them get started.

Key responsibilities

• Visit food‑service businesses to present Chop Awoof and secure sign‑ups.
• Identify and approach potential merchants within assigned Lagos locations.
• Assist new merchants with registration, account setup and publishing their first offers.
• Demonstrate the mobile application for managing offers and orders.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, sign‑ups and activations.
• Meet weekly and monthly merchant acquisition targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in field sales, direct sales, business development or merchant acquisition.
• Minimum OND qualification or equivalent practical sales experience.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable conducting daily face‑to‑face visits across Lagos.
• Resilient to rejection, able to overcome objections and close deals.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and hard‑working.

What we offer

• Monthly salary NGN 100,000 – 150,000 (depending on experience).
• Commission of NGN 2,000 for each successfully onboarded merchant for six months.
• Uncapped commission potential as you acquire more merchants.
