Field Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to drive sales of our construction products across the Marina area of Lagos. The role involves prospecting new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and delivering on‑site product demonstrations to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets for all product lines within the territory.
• Identify and develop new customer accounts through structured prospecting and cold‑calling.
• Conduct regular visits to existing customers according to an agreed call‑cycle plan.
• Present and demonstrate products to customers, retailers, and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and promotional arrangements within approved parameters.
• Execute in‑store merchandising, promotions, and brand activation activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and submit weekly market‑intelligence reports.
• Manage customer credit and follow up on outstanding invoices in line with credit policy.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Attend sales meetings, product trainings, and company events as required.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business, Marketing, Sciences or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of proven field sales experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Excellent verbal communication in English; proficiency in Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa is required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
