Field Sales Representative - Cleaning Services

About the role

FILIT Cleaning Agency, a division of FILIT Empire Ltd, is a professional cleaning service provider for businesses and homes across Lagos, offering office and commercial cleaning, residential cleaning, deep cleaning, sanitization and post-construction cleaning. It is hiring a Field Sales Representative for a hybrid role based in Lagos, combining on-site client visits with some work from home for administrative tasks. The agent promotes the cleaning services, generates leads and converts prospects into clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential customers in target areas and conduct sales presentations
• Explain service packages and pricing, and follow up on inquiries to close sales
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support customer onboarding
• Collaborate with the operations team so that service delivery meets client expectations
• Gather customer feedback and share market insights with management
• Take part in trainings on products, services and sales techniques, and support marketing activities
• Represent the brand professionally in all interactions

Required profile

• Strong field service and on-site client engagement skills, able to work independently in different locations and turn leads into long-term clients
• Customer relationship management skills: active listening, responsiveness, problem-solving, empathy and commitment to long-term relationships
• Communication in English (and local languages where relevant) and interpersonal skills for presenting services and negotiating agreements
• Sales skills: business, marketing, lead generation, prospecting and closing deals in a target-driven environment
• Ability to attend and apply training on products, services and sales techniques
• Organizational and time-management skills, including route planning, meeting scheduling and record keeping
• Basic knowledge of Lagos, especially Ogba, Ikeja, GRA and Anthony Village
• Minimum secondary school education (SSCE); further education in business, marketing or related fields is an advantage
• Prior experience in field sales, marketing and cleaning services is beneficial but not mandatory
