Field Sales and Marketing Officer

About the role

A client is looking for a creative, energetic Field Sales and Marketing Officer to promote gift and wholesale products, attract new customers and keep existing ones coming back. The role drives sales through online and offline marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and visit potential retail stores, gift shops, boutiques, supermarkets and lifestyle stores that might stock the products.
• Promote the company's gift products to prospective retailers and customers, presenting features, benefits, pricing and wholesale/retail options.
• Generate new leads, convert prospects into customers and retail partners, and follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations and pending orders.
• Negotiate orders and commercial terms within approved company guidelines and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Ensure products are properly displayed in partner stores where applicable, collect customer feedback and report market insights to management.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, orders, customer information and sales activities, and prepare regular reports on field activities and sales performance.
• Work with the sales and marketing team on strategies to increase product visibility and take part in promotions, exhibitions and pop-up events when required.

Required profile

• OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Experience in marketing or sales is an advantage; fresh graduates with strong skills are welcome.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, self-motivated, able to work with targets, and willing to work Monday to Saturday.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of social media marketing and basic content creation.

What we offer

• Salary of 200,000 plus commission.
