Field Engineer – ISP Installation & Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Engineer to join our Lagos team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining ISP services at customer sites, ensuring high‑quality connectivity and a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer premises to install and configure internet connectivity, routers, modems and other networking equipment.
• Follow company installation guidelines and technical specifications to guarantee accurate setup.
• Test and verify service performance against speed, reliability and quality standards.
• Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, equipment malfunctions and service disruptions.
• Escalate complex problems to internal teams such as network operations and support.
• Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, service requests and resolutions.
• Ensure installations comply with company policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel to various customer locations.

Required skills

• Installation and configuration of routers, modems and networking equipment.
• Network troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Basic understanding of ISP service delivery.
