Female Marketing & Growth Lead

About the role

The Marketing & Growth Lead will drive product listing and shelf presence across pharmacies, beauty stores, supermarkets and online marketplaces, while building strong retailer relationships and executing on‑ground activations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pitch and onboard new retail and distribution partners, negotiate listing terms and manage stock levels.
• Manage product listings, pricing and content on platforms such as Jumia, Konga, Instagram/WhatsApp shops and the brand website.
• Plan and execute in‑store activations, product sampling, roadshows and community marketing events.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence from the field to inform strategy.
• Design onboarding and retention programmes, including loyalty and win‑back campaigns.
• Track and report retail footprint, sell‑through rates and activation ROI to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, beauty/personal care, health/wellness or D2C brands.
• Proven track record of building brand visibility and acquisition funnels for new‑to‑market brands.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and stakeholder‑communication skills.

Required skills

• Digital marketing expertise (paid social, performance/search marketing, WhatsApp/SMS marketing).
• Experience managing e‑commerce storefronts and online marketplace listings.
