Female Home Tutor – Preschool (Yaba, Lagos)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated female home tutor to work with two preschool children (one girl, one boy) in Yaba, Lagos. The tutor will deliver early childhood education using the EYFS curriculum, focusing on reading, basic arithmetic, phonics and handwriting improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach reading skills and ensure the children can read independently.
• Guide the children through addition and subtraction exercises to achieve mastery.
• Deliver phonics lessons and support handwriting development.
• Prepare and follow lesson plans aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment at the client’s home.

Required profile

• Female tutor preferred.
• Experience working with preschool‑aged children.
• Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum or similar early childhood programs.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the agreed schedule.

Required skills

• Literacy instruction.
• Numeracy instruction (addition, subtraction).
• Phonics teaching.
• Handwriting improvement techniques.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of ₦77,826.
• Consistent schedule: 1 hour per day on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4:00 PM.
