Farm Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Farm Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our animal farm in Marina, Nigeria. The role involves ensuring animal welfare, managing farm workers, and maintaining accurate records of farm activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily animal care, including feeding, watering, handling, and health monitoring.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of animal housing and farm facilities.
• Keep accurate records of feeding, health, medication, mortality, and other farm activities.
• Assign tasks to farm workers, monitor feed and equipment supplies, and report issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with animal‑handling and farm safety practices.
• Monitor condition and availability of animal feed, medication, equipment, and other supplies.
• Report sick animals, unusual incidents, losses, or operational challenges promptly.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of practical experience handling and caring for animals.
• Studied animal health, animal science, veterinary‑related studies, or a related course.
• Good knowledge of animal feeding, handling, hygiene, and basic health management.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate daily farm activities.
• Responsible, observant, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to live on the farm or use provided accommodation.
• Must be able to work on a farm and handle animals as part of daily responsibilities.
