Factory Supervisor

About the role

The Factory Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing operations at our Shomolu facility in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with our quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and monitor work for production teams, coordinating schedules to meet output goals.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on the shop floor.
• Resolve operational issues in real time and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Train, guide, and evaluate team members, maintaining accurate production records.
• Collaborate with management, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve sustainable packaging objectives.

Required profile

• Strong background in production planning, production management and operations management.
• Solid experience in manufacturing operations and shop‑floor coordination.
• Proficiency in quality control practices and corrective‑action support.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise factory teams with effective people‑management skills.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification (diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, or related field); packaging experience is a plus.
