Factory Planner

About the role

Armorsil West Africa is seeking a Factory Planner to lead production scheduling and material coordination across its facilities in Abeokuta and the Marina region. The role focuses on translating sales forecasts and customer orders into actionable production plans while ensuring optimal use of manpower, machinery and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly production plans and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Allocate production capacity across lines, balancing demand with available resources.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Factory Managers to monitor plan execution and adjust as needed.
• Determine raw material and packaging requirements, liaising with Procurement to secure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods, recommending replenishment and reduction of excess stock.
• Track production performance, analyse variances, and produce dashboards on efficiency, machine utilisation and labour productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks, support capacity expansion projects and work with Maintenance to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
• BSc degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to prepare daily, weekly and monthly production and inventory reports.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate production variances and recommend improvements.
