Facilities & Maintenance Technician (Level 1)

About the role

Integer is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Technician‑1 to ensure the reliability and safety of its production facilities. You will work on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on major facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Install, adjust, repair, disassemble, replace, and reassemble equipment and facility components.
• Coordinate with external contractors, procure parts, and manage service requests.
• Execute general maintenance tasks and support other departments and engineers as needed.
• Conduct independent work orders, evaluate solutions, and implement small‑to‑moderate process improvements.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to associates on production equipment.
• Perform unsupervised walkthroughs to monitor facility conditions and report findings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, safety, environmental, and FDA regulations.
