Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the role

Greenbox Facilities Limited is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep and optimisation of all building systems at its Marina location in Abuja. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other critical infrastructure operate reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve preventive, corrective, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programmes for all facility assets.
• Create and manage maintenance schedules, work plans and inspection routines in line with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical distribution, power generation (including generators), HVAC, plumbing, lighting and utility infrastructure.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify deficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead daily activities of technicians, artisans, janitors and supervisors, ensuring timely and cost‑effective execution.
• Select, negotiate and manage contractors, consultants and service providers, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Implement strategies to reduce equipment failures, control maintenance costs and optimise resource utilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and statutory regulations, including proper PPE use.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience in facilities or building maintenance management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, budgeting and vendor management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
