Export Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive the growth of our manufacturing business in international markets. The role involves identifying new export opportunities, building distribution networks, and overseeing the end‑to‑end export process to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sustainable export markets and new distribution channels.
• Acquire and manage relationships with international customers, distributors and key retail partners.
• Design and execute export sales strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, distributor visits and business meetings abroad.
• Oversee order management, export documentation, logistics coordination and compliance with trade regulations.
• Collaborate with finance, customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely payment, order processing and shipment delivery.
• Support senior management with export budgeting, sales forecasting and KPI reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in export sales or international market development, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven track record of developing international markets and managing distributor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations and global logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
