Executive Legal Assistant

About the role

The Executive Legal Assistant provides high‑level administrative and procedural support to attorneys and firm leadership at G L Agbomoagan Legal Practitioners & Consultants. Working on a hybrid basis from Ibadan, the role ensures smooth handling of complex legal matters and day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, format and review legal documents, correspondence and agreements.
• Organise case files, maintain calendars, track deadlines and schedule meetings.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and client communications.
• Conduct legal research and assist in drafting memoranda and letters.
• Liaise with regulators, external stakeholders and support cross‑border transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate record‑keeping across the firm.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in law with experience supporting legal teams.
• Relevant qualification in Law, Legal Studies or a related field.
• Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is an advantage.
• Familiarity with international or commercial law matters and cross‑border transactions.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment using digital collaboration tools.
