Ethical Hacking Instructor

About the role

The Ethical Hacking Instructor will join Wedigraf Technologies Ltd in Port Harcourt to deliver part‑time, hands‑on cybersecurity training. You will create and lead practical, project‑based modules that prepare learners for real‑world penetration testing and security analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver ethical hacking and cybersecurity courses aligned with Wedigraf’s standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, lab exercises and demonstrations for each session.
• Guide learners through hands‑on penetration testing activities and assess their progress via assignments and evaluations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, tools and best practices, and refresh course content accordingly.
• Collaborate with the training team to improve curricula and mentor students.
• Foster a professional, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in IT, including systems, networks and cybersecurity concepts.
• Demonstrated teaching or lecturing experience with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit and Wireshark.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript for creating security utilities.
