Entry Level Field Engineer Program

About the role

We are seeking recent graduates to join our 2022 Entry Level Field Engineer Program at Baker Hughes. As a Field Engineer you will act as the primary liaison between on‑site crews and clients, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained and commissioned correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services, liaising with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Participate in solving complex technical problems through hands‑on work at rig sites.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products.
• Support tender activities, including data analysis, cost estimating and invoicing.
• Engage in job‑shadowing to develop a holistic understanding of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences or related field obtained within the last 36 months.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the country of application without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership abilities.
