English Language Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated English Language Teacher to join Daltha Academy’s on‑site team in Lagos. The successful candidate will deliver live English lessons to primary‑level students, supporting both the academy’s physical campus and its broader educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons in accordance with the academy’s curriculum.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments and classroom observation.
• Provide feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Islamic values and moral education into language instruction.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Strong command of English language teaching and classroom management.
• Experience delivering instruction in a classroom setting.
• Commitment to the academy’s blend of conventional education and Islamic ethics.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Lagos.
