Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician will ensure high equipment availability and support zero unplanned downtime across our manufacturing plant. You will perform preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, control panels, sensors and instrumentation.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on production equipment, utility systems and plant infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI systems, variable frequency drives (VFD) and other automation equipment.
• Support electrical panel design modifications, control circuit improvements and automation upgrades.
• Maintain generators, compressors, water and effluent treatment plants, ventilation systems and power distribution networks.
• Manage spare‑part inventories, procurement and proper storage of critical components.
• Ensure all work follows HSE policies, lockout/tagout procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Mid‑level qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Experience with maintenance documentation and work‑order systems.
