Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician will join the maintenance team in Ikoyi, Lagos, handling the installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The role ensures all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements while supporting ongoing engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, wiring, and equipment setup.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain distribution panels, switches, breakers, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards.
• Support engineering and maintenance projects and maintain accurate records of activities.
• Assist in emergency response and rapid fault resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant technical certification is an advantage.
