Electrical Technician / Engineer – Multiple Locations in Nigeria

About the role

Choice Talents NG is seeking qualified Electrical Technicians / Engineers to join industrial teams across Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, and Rivers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in factories, plants, and warehouses, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control systems in industrial settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate records of work performed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, reading schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and other tradespeople to complete projects.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and junior electricians.

Required profile

• Minimum Trade Test Certificate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Required skills

• Trade Test Certificate (or equivalent)
• Electrical schematics interpretation
• PLC programming and control systems (plus)
