Electrical / Solar Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical / Solar Engineer to design, develop and oversee solar PV and electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects. The role involves site assessments, technical documentation and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solar PV and electrical systems for various project types.
• Conduct site surveys, load assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare technical drawings, system layouts and project documentation.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of solar and electrical systems.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance of installed systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar PV and electrical system design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries and electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
