Electrical Sales Manager

About the role

PC Recruit Nigeria is recruiting an Electrical Sales Manager based in Lagos (Marina) to drive sales of electrical and mechanical spare parts and services in the assigned region. The role covers business development, client relationship management and technical consultation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to meet sales targets for spare parts and services
• Identify and recruit new corporate and industrial clients such as manufacturing plants, oil & gas, power generation, FMCG and construction
• Generate leads through site visits, networking, industry events and cold calling
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on spare part specifications and maintenance contracts
• Build long-term relationships with Plant Managers, Procurement Officers and Maintenance Engineers, including regular site visits
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements
• Advise clients on spare part selection and compatibility, and collaborate with the technical team on quotes and proposals
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and report sales activities, pipelines and client interactions, with monthly and quarterly reports to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng) or Science (B.Sc); M.Eng or MBA highly advantageous
• Minimum 5-7 years after qualification in business development, sales or technical sales in electrical engineering, industrial automation or power
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets
• Experience selling electrical/mechanical spare parts or maintenance services is essential
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical components (motors, switchgear, drives, transformers) and mechanical parts
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and strong commercial acumen

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of NGN 600,000 to 800,000
• Performance-based commission
• Transport, communication and travel allowances
