Electrical Maintenance Planning Engineer – Full‑Time

About the role

Sayed Farms Limited is seeking a proactive Electrical Maintenance Planning Engineer to join its Engineering and Maintenance team in Ibadan. The role focuses on planning, scheduling and coordinating preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for electrical equipment and systems.
• Prepare detailed maintenance schedules and coordinate execution with maintenance and production teams.
• Monitor equipment performance, recommend improvement initiatives and support root‑cause analysis.
• Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns, overhauls and major maintenance activities.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools and resources before scheduled jobs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment histories and performance reports.
• Track maintenance KPIs such as equipment uptime, MTBF and MTTR.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement and stores on spare‑part requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control and support installation, commissioning and modification of electrical systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance planning within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive and reliability‑centered maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with CMMS and ERP maintenance modules.
