Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to drive the design, sales and delivery of renewable energy solutions such as solar PV, battery storage, inverters and UPS systems for corporate, government and institutional clients in Nigeria.

The role combines business development, technical engineering, project management and client support to ensure successful project execution from concept to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar, inverter, UPS and battery storage solutions; generate leads, prepare quotations and meet sales targets.
• Conduct site surveys, energy assessments and design renewable energy systems using engineering tools; size solar PV, batteries, inverters and UPS equipment.
• Prepare technical drawings, single‑line diagrams, load analyses and bills of quantities while ensuring compliance with electrical and safety standards.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise installations; manage installers, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Deliver client presentations, support pre‑sales and post‑sales technical queries, and conduct product demonstrations and training.
• Produce technical reports, maintain project documentation, update the CRM and submit regular sales and project status reports.
• Ensure adherence to electrical regulations, company safety policies and quality standards throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Professional certification such as COREN, NSE or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification in Solar PV Design or Renewable Energy (desirable).
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or renewable energy projects.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantage).
