Electrical Engineer – Lighting Installation (Part‑time, Project‑based)

About the role

SolutionMall is seeking qualified engineers and technicians to support local lighting projects on a part‑time, project‑based basis. When a suitable project arises, selected candidates will be invited to carry out installation, commissioning and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of lighting fixtures and related equipment.
• Check electrical wiring and equipment connections for compliance.
• Perform operational testing and basic commissioning of installed systems.
• Troubleshoot common installation and operating issues on site.
• Provide regular updates on site conditions and project progress.
• Offer basic operating guidance to end‑users when required.

Required profile

• Experience in lighting, electrical installation or related fieldwork.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and safe working practices.
• Ability to read simple installation or wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with common installation and testing tools.
• Good communication, teamwork and responsibility.
• Willingness to attend local project sites as needed.
