About the role

The Education Officer will provide technical, operational and administrative support for UNICEF’s education programmes in Nigeria, from planning through implementation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

Support programme development and planning.
Manage programme monitoring, evaluation and delivery of results.
Provide technical and operational assistance to programme implementation.
Build networks and partnerships with stakeholders.
Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in research, programme planning, management or education.
Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language or local language is a plus.
Experience in fragile, development or humanitarian settings is desirable.
