Education Officer – Ondo State, Nigeria

About the role

Education Officers play a key role in strategically enhancing education in both public and private schools through the effective rollout of EIDU Digital Learning Programs. They work closely with local, state and federal government partners to ensure successful implementation and long‑term sustainability of the program.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the successful implementation and execution of the EIDU pilot program, including facilitating teacher training, onboarding and continuous support.
• Provide training and ongoing assistance to schools and government education officers on using the EIDU Field App and dashboards for planning, execution and reporting.
• Promote adoption of digital platforms by educators for lesson planning and engaging student activities.
• Act as a liaison between EIDU and state‑level activities, representing the organization at events when needed.
• Establish and nurture relationships with state government education officers to support teacher training programmes.
• Compile and present progress reports to government officials and executive leaders, using dashboards for active monitoring.
• Conduct school visits to observe implementation, give feedback and support teachers in delivering high‑quality education.
