Education Officer – Ondo State, Nigeria

About the role

EIDU is seeking Education Officers to lead the rollout of its digital learning programs in public and private schools across Ondo State, Nigeria. The role involves close collaboration with local, state and federal education authorities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of the program.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate teacher training, onboarding and continuous support for EIDU schools.
• Provide training and ongoing assistance to government education officers on using the EIDU Field App and dashboards for planning, execution and reporting.
• Promote adoption of digital platforms by educators for lesson planning and student engagement.
• Act as a liaison between EIDU and state‑level education activities, representing the organization at events when needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with state education officers to support teacher training initiatives.
• Compile and present progress reports to government officials and EIDU leadership, using dashboards for monitoring.
• Conduct school visits to observe implementation, give feedback and support teachers.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the education sector in Nigeria.
• Experience working with government education bodies or NGOs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to travel within Ondo State for school visits and training sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EIDU Field App and dashboard tools.
