Education Officer – Katsina State, Nigeria

About the role

EIDU is seeking Education Officers to lead the rollout of its digital learning programs in public and private schools across Katsina State. The role involves close collaboration with local, state and federal education authorities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of the program.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate teacher training, onboarding and continuous support for schools participating in the EIDU program.
• Train and assist government education officers in using the EIDU Field App and dashboards for planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Promote the adoption of digital platforms for lesson planning and student engagement.
• Act as the primary liaison between EIDU and state‑level education stakeholders, representing the organization at events and meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with state education officers to advocate for teacher‑training initiatives.
• Prepare and present progress reports to government officials and EIDU leadership, highlighting key metrics via dashboards.
• Conduct school visits to observe implementation, provide feedback and support teachers in delivering high‑quality instruction.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Nigerian education system, particularly at the state level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to travel within the state for school visits and training sessions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EIDU Field App and data‑dashboard tools.
