Early Years/Class Teacher

About the role

Brain Academy is seeking a passionate Early Years/Class Teacher to join its team in Marina, Nigeria. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating, play‑based learning environment that supports the holistic development of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, child‑centered lessons aligned with the early years curriculum.
• Design creative learning materials and activity centres that encourage curiosity and motor‑skill development.
• Monitor child progress through continuous assessment, observation and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, daily care and behaviour.
• Foster a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive social habits.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of NCE; a background in early childhood education (TRCN) is preferred.
• At least two years of proven experience as an early years or class teacher in a structured school setting.
• Montessori experience is an added advantage.
