Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to operate a range of vehicles safely and efficiently. The role involves transporting passengers, goods, or materials while adhering to schedules, routes, and company standards. You will represent the company with a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate cars, vans, trucks, and buses in compliance with traffic laws.
• Transport passengers or cargo according to assigned schedules and routes.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, check oil, fuel, and water levels, and report any mechanical issues.
• Use GPS and maps to select optimal routes and avoid traffic or hazards.
• Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring items are secured properly.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and inspections.
• Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients to coordinate deliveries and report delays.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and wear required safety gear.
• Respond calmly to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns following established procedures.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance while representing the company.

Required profile

• Diploma and a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (including CDL for trucks or buses).
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Willingness to adapt to schedule changes and client requests.

Required skills

• Operation of various vehicle types with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Use of GPS navigation tools for route planning.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection skills.
