Driver for 5-20 tonne trailer trucks

About the role

Medessy Enterprises Limited is seeking an experienced driver to operate and maintain 5-20 tonne trailer trucks. The role involves transporting goods across Ibadan, Oyo State and beyond, ensuring safety and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a 5-20 tonne trailer truck.
• Transport and deliver goods to designated locations within and outside Lagos as required.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after every trip.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and proper handling of cargo.
• Comply with traffic regulations, road safety standards, and company policies.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, and other incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant driving experience with a 5-20 tonne trailer truck.
• Valid driver's license with appropriate heavy‑duty endorsements and professional competence certificate.
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and Ibadan/Oyo routes.
• Disciplined, punctual, reliable and safety‑conscious.
• Physically fit for the demands of the role.

Required skills

• Operating 5-20 tonne trailer trucks.
• Conducting basic vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical faults.
