Driver Acquisition Officer (Field Sales)

About the role

HiGO is a fast‑growing ride‑hailing platform expanding across Abuja. The Driver Acquisition Officer will recruit and onboard quality drivers, helping to build a safe, reliable, and affordable transportation network.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified drivers onto the HiGO platform.
• Conduct field engagement activities in strategic locations to acquire new drivers.
• Educate prospective drivers on HiGO's benefits, earnings, incentives, and operational policies.
• Guide drivers through the registration, documentation, verification, and activation process.
• Organize driver sensitization sessions and onboarding campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with transport unions, fleet owners, garages, and driver communities.
• Achieve weekly and monthly driver acquisition targets.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely activity and performance reports.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to support growth strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, field operations, or customer acquisition.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Abuja and its transportation ecosystem (advantage).
• Proficiency in using smartphones and mobile applications.
• Ability to engage diverse groups of people professionally.
• Fluency in Hausa (advantage).
