Dotnet Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Dotnet Backend Developer to join our team in Kaduna. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust backend services and APIs using the .NET ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs with .NET Core.
• Implement new features, optimise existing code and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure application performance, security and scalability.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, QA engineers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation and help improve development standards.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in object‑oriented programming and clean, testable code.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.
• Understanding of RESTful API design, relational databases (SQL Server) and Git version control.
• Ability to debug, profile and optimise backend applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in an on‑site team.
