Director of Sales Marketing

About the role

Scale NXT is looking for an experienced Director of Sales Marketing to lead our healthcare diagnostic centre’s commercial functions. You will drive revenue growth, expand patient referrals, and strengthen our brand presence across Lagos and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Generate patient acquisition through corporate partnerships, HMOs, hospitals, clinics, physicians, and referral networks.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
• Lead and motivate marketing and sales teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate organisations, insurance providers, healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Design promotional campaigns, health‑awareness programs and community outreach activities.
• Monitor sales performance, marketing effectiveness and acquisition metrics, reporting to executive management.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations and finance teams to align commercial strategies with organisational objectives.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient resource use.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate staff to drive high performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in marketing, sales or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, hospitals, pharmaceuticals or HMOs is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and strategic partnership development.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
