About the role
The Director of Operations will assume full P&L and operational ownership for the Ultra Division’s multi‑plant network. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive strategic growth, operational excellence and safety across all sites.
Key responsibilities
- Take complete responsibility for production, maintenance and safety across multiple plants.
- Design and execute strategies that scale the business and position the company as Africa’s leading industrial minerals processor.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of Plant Managers and functional heads.
- Apply analytical and process‑improvement methodologies to maximise output, minimise downtime and optimise resource utilisation.
- Recruit, develop and retain top operational talent to support continued expansion.
- Translate complex operational data into strategic insights for senior leadership and communicate targets down to the factory floor.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: HND.
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior operational leadership role.
