About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to head its Academic Excellence function. This remote, senior position will translate cutting‑edge learning science into actionable strategies that drive accelerated student outcomes across multiple schools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn learning science into concrete guidance for curriculum design, student motivation systems, and digital interfaces.
• Oversee execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and high performance.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and observations into comprehensive ecosystem evaluations, identifying obstacles and recommending solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback loops, and progress tracking focused on learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile events, delivering keynotes and engaging with ministries of education to promote the model globally.

Required profile

• Proven track record of articulating and owning an academic vision with measurable results.
• Visible, hands‑on leadership experience in applying learning science at scale.
• Ability to align execution across diverse school environments and raise leadership standards.
• Strong communication skills for presenting evidence‑based approaches to external audiences.
