Direct Sales Agent - Fintech (Digital Payments)

About the role

FMR Agency is recruiting experienced Direct Sales Agents to drive merchant acquisition for a leading digital payment company. The role covers prospecting, onboarding and activating business clients while meeting sales targets. It is based in Lekki, Lagos, with a hybrid schedule (field-based, one day per week) and a Monday to Friday work week.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new business merchants within assigned territories.
• Promote digital payment solutions and give product presentations.
• Complete KYC, onboarding and account activation processes.
• Achieve monthly acquisition and activation targets.
• Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports.
• Provide post-onboarding support and build lasting client relationships.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Required profile

• OND, HND or B.Sc. in any discipline.
• 2-3 years of FinTech sales experience.
• Experience with OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint is required.
• Strong merchant acquisition and field sales experience.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos business environment.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented and able to work independently.
