Dialysis Nurse

About the role

Osiris Health is expanding West Africa's dialysis network and seeks a dedicated Dialysis Nurse to join its on‑site team. The role is based in Lagos (or Oyo or Delta) and involves delivering safe, high‑quality dialysis care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient care throughout hemodialysis sessions, including set‑up, monitoring, and disconnection of equipment.
• Operate and maintain dialysis machines according to manufacturer guidelines and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient conditions before, during, and after treatment, documenting observations and vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other nurses to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on kidney health, treatment plans, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Provide emotional support and address patient concerns throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing certification or license to practice nursing.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hemodialysis and dialysis procedures.
• Knowledge of nephrology and kidney‑related conditions.
• Understanding of medicine and patient care practices.
