DevOps Instructor

About the role

Abuja Data School is seeking a full‑time, on‑site DevOps Instructor to join its training team in Abuja. You will deliver engaging lectures and hands‑on labs, helping students acquire industry‑relevant DevOps skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lecture sessions on DevOps concepts and practices.
• Conduct practical workshops covering cloud services, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor students, provide feedback, and assess their progress throughout the course.
• Create and update curriculum materials to reflect current industry standards.
• Share real‑world best practices and case studies to prepare learners for professional challenges.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in information technology, especially cloud services, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or lecturing experience with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and mentor students to achieve strong learning outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a DevOps professional or instructing DevOps topics is a plus.
