Deputy Test Centre Administrator - IELTS

About the role

IDP, a global provider of international education services, is hiring a Deputy Test Centre Administrator in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. The role manages the day-to-day operations of an IELTS test centre while driving business development, sales, revenue growth and market expansion. It carries dual accountability for IELTS Operations and Compliance and for Business Development and Revenue Growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IELTS test administration, security, compliance and quality assurance
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience and customer service
• Drive IELTS registrations, sales, lead generation and revenue growth
• Build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, study-abroad agencies and corporate organisations
• Run marketing initiatives, conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
• Monitor operational performance, sales targets and business reports
• Independently manage daily activities, resolve challenges and improve efficiency

Required profile

• University degree in Social Sciences, Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Proven experience in administration, operations, sales, business development or customer service; education or examination administration experience is an added advantage
• Ability to generate leads, convert enquiries into registrations, manage sales pipelines and build stakeholder relationships
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organisational and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and able to work with minimal supervision

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital reporting tools and CRM systems
• Understanding of data confidentiality, compliance and operational procedures
