Deputy Harvesting Manager – Sugar Cane

About the role
The Deputy Harvesting Manager will support the Harvest Manager in planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring sugar‑cane harvesting activities. The role ensures production targets are met while upholding safety, quality, environmental and cost standards.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the harvest SOP from dry‑off through to quality control and timely delivery of cane to the factory.
- Coordinate closely with factory stakeholders, HTMS and the scrab manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforce company regulations related to manpower management, payment processes and safety measures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Farm Management or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in transportation, logistics or a comparable field.
