About the role
The Depot Inventory Officer will oversee daily inventory operations within the depot, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal stock levels to support sales and production.
Key responsibilities
- Manage operational and administrative issues promptly while mitigating financial risks.
- Ensure effective synergy between depots and internal customers such as Sales, Transport, Plant, and Head Office Support Units.
- Act as intermediary between daily SOP activities and the Sales team to keep depots adequately stocked.
- Prevent out‑of‑stock situations and avoid overstocking.
- Prepare and submit daily and monthly inventory reports to management.
- Implement and maintain effective record‑keeping processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory management or related roles.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
