Dental Nurse

About the role

Canan Dental Clinic is seeking a full‑time Dental Nurse to join its on‑site team in Lagos State, Nigeria. The role supports dentists throughout clinical procedures, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Prepare and organise treatment rooms, instruments and materials.
• Provide chair‑side assistance and help patients feel at ease before, during and after care.
• Record clinical information accurately.
• Handle sterilisation, decontamination and infection‑control processes.
• Maintain equipment and work‑area compliance with clinic protocols.
• Coordinate appointments and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification as a Dental Nurse or Dental Health professional, with required registration/licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse patients.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is highly beneficial.
