Delivery Officer – Dispatch Rider (Lagos)

About the role

The Delivery Officer (Dispatch Rider) ensures safe, timely, and efficient pickup and delivery of packages across Lagos State. You will represent the company professionally at every delivery point while maintaining the integrity of all items.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages to assigned locations, verifying items before dispatch.
• Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers and vendors.
• Obtain proof of delivery through signatures, photos, or digital acknowledgment.
• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and real‑time traffic information.
• Keep the assigned motorcycle clean, roadworthy, and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit daily reports to the Operations team.

Required profile

• Minimum ND or SSC education.
• Valid Rider's Permit and Driver's License.
• 2–4 years of experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or delivery personnel.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic patterns.

Required skills

• Safe motorcycle riding skills.
• Proficiency with GPS and navigation tools.
• Basic documentation and reporting abilities.
