Fleet Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our vehicle fleet, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations. UUL United Logistics Nig Ltd is an international freight forwarding, shipping, and supply chain management company with operations in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations, drivers, routes and vehicle availability.
• Manage drivers dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor vehicles and drivers via GPS tracking and investigate incidents.
• Control operating costs and report fleet performance to management.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers to promote safe, efficient and compliant operations.
• Plan vehicle deployment, trip schedules and route assignments.
• Investigate accidents, breakdowns and other fleet‑related incidents, and ensure appropriate corrective action.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Transport, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑7 years experience in fleet or transport management, including managing drivers and commercial vehicles.
• Fluency in both Hausa and English.

Required skills

• Experience with GPS tracking systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Reporting and data analysis capabilities.
