Data Entry Officer (Edo)

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a Data Entry Officer to support merchant onboarding and maintain accurate product, inventory and pricing data on the Moniebook platform. The role is based in Edo State (Oredo and Ikpoba Okha) and operates in a hybrid, outsourced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Input, update and maintain merchant data, including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels and customer profiles.
• Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, validating format and completeness before upload.
• Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required product, inventory and configuration data within agreed timelines.
• Review merchant‑submitted data templates for errors or missing fields and follow up to resolve gaps.
• Conduct data quality checks to identify and correct errors, duplicates or outdated records.
• Cross‑reference data across spreadsheets, CRM and POS backend to ensure consistency.
• Document data anomalies and route them to the appropriate team for resolution.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in data entry or related administrative tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with onboarding specialists and account managers.
