Data Engineer I (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer I to join our client on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines that enable reliable data flow for analytics and business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets.
• Build and optimize data infrastructure for both real‑time and batch processing workloads.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data requirements and align solutions with business goals.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling techniques.
