Data Analyst – Financial Services (Nigeria)

About the role

Payhippo is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, analyse, and interpret data that supports multiple teams across the organisation. The role focuses on improving lending operations, banking app performance, and overall user experience through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and clean data from internal databases, app usage logs, APIs and third‑party sources.
• Develop statistical models, regression analyses and predictive algorithms to inform business decisions and risk assessments.
• Design and run experiments with cross‑functional teams to validate hypotheses and optimise product features.
• Prepare dashboards and visual reports that communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality, maintain data governance documentation and address anomalies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in lending or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
